Game 1 of the NBA finals was Cleveland's worst game of the season. All the Cavs including Lebron, played unlike themselves.
Every bounce went the Warriors way. The GSW only had 4 turnovers as a team, while Lebron had 8 turnovers to himself. In total the Cavs had 20 turnovers and had nearly 20 less shot attempts than GS. Lebron, Kyrie, and Love all shot less than 50% while Curry and Durant shot 50% or better. Klay and Draymond played incredible defensively. I do not believe that Durant, Curry, Klay, and Draymond will all be on offensively, not against the Cavs. I think 2 out of the 4 stars will continue to be hot while the other two do other things to impact the game. The Cavs role players played pretty poor, Kyle Korver, Triston Thompson, and Deron Williams all had 0 points. While JR Smith had 3 points. Korver and Williams will be better since they got their first NBA finals game over with. Triston Thompson must get more than 4 rebounds and give the Cavs second chances on offense. He must play like he's capable of for the Cavs to have a chance, 8 points and 12 rebounds would be ideal for Cleveland. I think the Cavs defense will be better as well as their role players. I also think Lebron will give us an incredible performance and take care of the ball. Therefore I expect game 2 to be very competitive and entertaining. I believe the Cavs will win in a very close game 2.

Besides having the best player in the NBA, the best player has a lot of veteran help. Whereas the Cavs have a terrific bench, the Warriors do not. Still the Warriors are ridiculously talented because they have Curry, Durant, Green, and Thompson but their bench is no where near Cleveland's.
I say this because the Cavs have veterans such as : Kyle Korver, Deron Williams, Iman Shumpert, Channing Frye, and Richard Jefferson who have all played in big time moments, which will help them ease into the NBA Finals atmosphere. On the Golden State bench there are only two veterans, Andre Igouldala who seems to be losing a step and Shaun Livingston who can't shoot. These two are still very important to the Warriors success because they can impact the game in other ways, but they're not as dangerous as Korver or Shumpert. Other bench players in Golden State include rookie Patrick McCaw who I believe will not perform dependently in the Finals and Ian Clark, David West , and Matt Barnes who all seem to be just OK players. Cleveland not only has a better bench, but their superstars are just as good, if not better than the GSW's top guys. Lebron will impact the game more than Durant. Kyrie will score just as much as Steph. Love who has been playing great, is more than capable of out dueling Klay. And Triston Thompson who is best in the NBA at keeping alive possessions by rebounding and who can also defend the paint can cancel out Draymond Green. Also with Steve Kerr absent from the sideline, I believe this will negatively impact the Warriors in big game moments. Lebron has had a only decent last two games, I only think thats because he is ready for the Warriors and mentally wasn't focused against Boston in game 3. Because of Lebron James expected to play out of this world with his great supporting cast, Cavs win the series 4-2. Luck or perhaps magic was on the Lakers side for Tuesday's NBA draft lottery. For the 3rd year in the row the Lakers kept their 1st round draft pick, and will draft 2nd overall. The majority of sports analysts and fans believe the Lakers are poised to take point guard Lonzo Ball. But what if the Celtics who hold the 1st overall pick say we can't pass up on a guy like this, and draft Ball. If this happens the Lakers immediately need to trade the 2nd overall pick for Paul George. In my opinion guys like Markelle Fultz , De'Aaron Fox, and Josh Jackson just appear to be 'guys' and not the guy who can carry a franchise to a title. The Lakers have enough 'guys' in Julius Randle, Jordan Clarkson, Larry Nance Jr, and Dangelo Russell. While I believe that Brandon Ingram and Ivica Zubac . Draymond Green said that it was "bullsh*t" that Klay Thompson did not make an all NBA team. He said that the GSW won 67 games and should've won 71. Green also said that there were guys who made a all NBA team who averaged high points per game but do not have nearly as many wins as the Warriors did. I felt like this was a direct shot at guys like Westbrook who had tremendous seasons but did not have 60 plus wins. Draymond first off would never be an All-Star is he wasn't playing on the GSW. He must've forgot that he's playing along side a 2 time MVP, another MVP, and 2 all stars including himself. GSW may be the most unfair most talented team, yet I still believe the Cavs will win in 6 games in the NBA Finals. Lebron James is officially at his peak. He can play 1-5 , guard 1-5 , has the best court vision we've seen , can get to the hoop at will and elevates his teammates games. We all know and have heard this countless times. But, now Lebron is shooting with confidence and nailing the 3 ball efficiently. Lebron and Kyrie they're better than KD and Curry. Love will cancel out Klay and Triston Thompson must play great and get the Cavs second chance baskets and control the boards and then he will cancel out Green. Also the Cavs have a deeper bench than Golden State. So because of the bench and Lebron the Cavs will beat the GSW in 6 games. 1. Chris Paul will go back to New Orleans to team up with Damarcus Cousins and Anthony Davis.
2. Blake Griffin will go to the OKC Thunder 3. Lakers trade for Jimmy Butler or Paul Gerorge 4. OKC would be a championship contender is it was 2010, 3 point era did not fit OKC last year. 5. If Lebron wins championship , he leaves Cleveland 6. Eagles win NFC EAST 7. Carson Wentz is an MVP candidate 8. Oakland beats New England in AFC championship 9. Cowboys finish 8-8 or worst 10. Raptors get rid of Lowry for a better match for Derozan 11. Lakers trade top 3 pick for Melo , sign D wade Lebron and CP3 in free agency. 12. Klay leaves GSW 13. Bucs win NFC South 14. Titans wins AFC South 15. Eagles VS Raiders Super Bowl Although the OKC Thunder were eliminated in 5 games against Houston tonight, Westbrook is the best player I've watched since Kobe, other than Lebron James. Houston will most likely have the 6th man of year, coach of the year, and executive of the year who put a great roster together. That being said the OKC was undermanned talent wise. The similarities between Kobe and Westbrook are very apparent on the court. They both play with a passion that is extremely rare and believe no matter the odds, they will prevail. They also are willing to carry the team on and off the court. If the game calls for them taking 30 plus shots they do it, and will handle the questions after with no excuses. The year Shaq left the Lakers, Kobe averaged 27.6 points per game, 6 assist per game, and 6 rebounds, on 43% shooting(basketballreferance). The Lakers did not have much talent around Kobe, Lamar Odom who scored 15 points per game(basketballreferance) was the team's 2nd best player. The year Durant left OKC, Westbrook averaged 32 points, 11 assist, and 11 rebounds per game on 43% shooting(basketballreferance) and OKC made the playoffs and won a game. The Thunder's second best player Enes Kanter scored 14 points per game(basketballreferance). Westbrook averaged a triple double in not only the regular season, but post season as well.
We are witnessing historic greatness thanks to Russell Westbrook. Westbrook currently has 40 triple doubles this season, with six games remaining he is sure to beat Oscar Robertson's record of 41 triple doubles in a single regular season.
According to basketballreference.com, Westbrook is averaging 31.8 ppg, 10.6 rpg, and 10.4 apg. Westbrook is averaging a triple double, this hasn't been done since 1962 by Robertson. Michael Jordan recored just 28 triple doubles over his entire career. We are truly watching greatness. Some people try to disrespect this greatness by belittling Westrbook's triple doubles. The few Westbrook critics will say that he chases triple doubles or that his teammates allow him to rebound. These are ridiculous accusations, Westbrook plays every game, every play like it is his last. He is simply just playing the game of basketball at a higher level than anyone. In basketball you are suppose to score, rebound, and assist but most players can only do one of those things, Westbrook is doing what many can't. Westbrook is a terrific defender, not many guards score on him. Good things happen when Westbrook has the ball, why not get him the ball the quickest way possible, a rebound. Not only should Westbrook win MVP, he should win the most improved player award as well. In Westbrook's past years he would get knocked for not being a pass first point guard, or a leader, or playing out of control. Westbrook is extremely poised this year and must've worked hard last summer to better his all around game. Westbrook knows when to get his guys involved and when to take over. Westbrook has been a terrific closer all year and has clinched the playoffs with his undermanned Thunder team. Westbrook is working with the least talented playoff team in the NBA. What also sticks out to me is that, many thought OKC would miss the playoffs when Durant left. Instead of listening to that Westbrook decided to have a historically great season filled with triple doubles. James Harden who is also an MVP candidate is working with a more talented team. When Harden missed last night's game against the Suns, his Rockets won and scored 126 points. If Westbrook did't play OKC would suffer a loss, appreciate greatness and award Russell Westbrook the MVP. This is such an easy question, its the Lakers. The Clippers may be going to the playoffs but we all know they won't get past the second round, in fact they never have, ever. As of now the Clippers do have a more talented team with Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, Deandre Jordan, and legit role players. But the Clips will not beat Golden State or San Antonio. I believe that Chris Paul will tell the Clippers GM, Doc Rivers try and get Lebron, Carmelo, and D-wade and let Griffin leave in free agency. While these moves are unlikely I think Chris Paul will leave after this year, forcing the Clippers to rebuild because clearly this team can't win it all. While the Lakers are on their 4th straight losing season, the future is so bright. The Lakers have young head coach, Luke Walton and Magic Johnson calling the shots. Besides from those guys, they have very talented young players who look ready to compete next year. With Walton as coach, these young players developing, and Magic Johnson calling the shots the Lakers will be back to being an ideal place for big time free agents, like Paul George. After this season we will see the Lakers as LA's top team once again.
I hate to break the news but both of LA's football teams will be lucky to go 6-10 next year. The Rams hired 30 year old head coach Sean McVay while the Chargers hired Anthony Lynn. Mcvay was Washington's offensive coordinator while Lynn was a running backs coach for Buffalo. To answer the question the Rams are in better shape, which may surprise some people. This may come as a surprise because the chargers have Phillip Rivers as their quarterback, but thats all they have. The chargers have a defense that might of played better than some would've thought they would last year, that was lucky. The Chargers do not have a reliable defense while the Rams have a terrific defense. On the offensive side the Rams have #1 overall pick Jared Goff who needs to get developed after a horrible rookie year, compared to the 2nd overall pick Carson Wentz. The Rams I believe have a better defense, offensive line, and running game than the Chargers, plus the Chargers only hope, Phillip Rivers is getting old and didn't even want to come to LA.
The Philadelphia Eagles franchise is in the best shape it has been in, since 2005, the year they went to the Super Bowl. Here is why, the Eagles have a franchise quarterback in 24 year old Carson Wentz. Not only do the Eagles have the key to success, which is having a franchise QB, but they have an actual head coach in Doug Pederson. Pederson has attained an incredible staff starting with: Offensive coordinator Frank Reich, quarterbacks coach John Defilippo, and defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz. Reich and Defilippo were both former quarterbacks, so was head coach Doug Pederson. Having so much knowledge or experience playing the position these coaches really helped Wentz his rookie year, and will continue to help him grow. On the offensive side of the ball the Eagles really have everything, except a wide receiver who can take the top off of a defense. The Eagles are desperately lacking a down the field threat, that was extremely apparent last season. While some may argue the Eagles need a running back, I disagree. The Eagles have two or maybe even three young backs who didn't see much playing time because of veterans Ryan Matthews and Darren Sproles. I believe the Eagles will part ways with Matthews, opening up playing time for the young backs to show what they have. On the defensive side of the ball the Eagles are great, and that starts with their defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz. Philadelphia has a solid D-line, linebackers, safeties, and decent cornerbacks. Thats where the Eagles need to improve this defense, at cornerback. If the Eagles can draft wide receiver Mike Williams, or corner back Teez Tabor they'll be taking a step towards Super Bowl contention. I would like to see them actually take a corner back with their first draft pick, because I believe the Eagles will sign a big time WR. Possibly Desean Jackson makes a return, or they pay free agent Alshon Jeffery, or at least sign a guy like Kenny Stills or Pierre Garcon. All the Philadelphia Eagles need is help at corner back and a wide receiver who can help Wentz throw the ball down field. If they can make those moves they will surprise a whole lot of people.
